Today’s dress of the day can be found at Macy’s (visit www.macys.com) for 69.50. With the official day of summer starting Wed. I think this is a great everyday  dress to wear to be comfortable and still cute in the heat. This long stripe maxi dress is part of the Calvin Klein 2012 collection.

Speaking of shoes made me want to re-post my shoe game article from March.

I see so many women walking in shoes that hurt their feet. You can tell their feet hurt by the funny walk they do. Ladies that is not cute no matter how pretty the shoe is!! Here are some good pointers when shopping for shoes.

1. Look for a pair of shoes that you think look nice.
2. Consider if you can walk in heels and how comfortable they will be. If you can’t walk in tall heels start off with a kitty heel.
3. Please look at the price and think about how much you are willing to spend. You don’t want to try on the shoes and fall in love with them then realized they are a little too pricey for you.
4. Try the shoes on and walk around in them. Make sure they fit perfectly and comfy. If they rub even a tiny bit and/or if they are hard to walk in put them back and keep looking. You should be able to walk normally and easily in them.
5. Look in the mirror to see how they look.
6. Lastly if they pass all these test, go ahead and treat yourself to those new pair of shoes.
